This was the second graduation ceremony for Jose Ferrer, who became manager of the Small Wonders Children’s Center in late 2014. She thanked the family members in attendance for their warm welcome. “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to be a part of your child’s growth,” Ferrer said.
In keeping with an annual tradition for the center, Ferrer then reported on what the graduates told their teachers they want to be when they grow up. Among class members’ aspirations were to become firefighters, veterinarians, pediatricians, dentists and helicopter pilots. There was also one future professional singer, one “cupcake maker,” and one who wants to work on a farm and “take good care of the horses.”
